That's not lucky. Lucky is pulling away from two sets of lights on the rear wheel, riding on to the motorway and filtering through traffic in treble figures, doing a stoppie on the slip road at the traffic lights and then being pulled over and only being given a fixed penalty and fine for excess speed on a motorway. Policeman who pulled me over was at the first set of traffic lights. Now that is lucky.
Lucky is having a straight through exhaust on full throttle in 6th gear and getting pulled over. For the policeman to have a 'chat' about my undertaking and then letting me off with a comment about how cool the exhaust sounded. Now that is lucky.
Lucky is when you have been practicing your wheelies on what you think is an empty road to land one and see blue lights in your mirrors. Expecting the worst when the policemen say if you can do a better wheelie than the one you just did, we will let you off. Now that is lucky.
I've had my fair share of luck.
Paying heavily for my last trek down the motorway on the YZF though.
