I registered when the register first came out. The red donor card in the window of my wallet is dated 15/2/91.

However, please if you are serious. Discuss it with your family next of kin as they can still veto your wish when you snuff it.

My wife was quite unhappy when she I first told her. Strange as ill health means that one day she will require somebodies liver and her attitude has now changed to there should be implied consent to organ donation
