After a night drinking very strong beer (and losing consciousness on the balcony of the pub while trying to 'pace myself' with an archers and lemonade!) retired to friend's sofa to sleep, another friend on other sofa. Woke up and all that beer decided to make an encore, all over the coffee table and carpet. Had just enough time between hurls to gurgle 'help me' to other friend who was so ****ed he just fell straight back asleep. Desperate drunken mopping up of beer with paper towels ensued, and I then headed for the nearest toilet (ground floor by their front hall) in case any more wanted to come back for another visit.

None did, but I still ended up sleeping in the front hall and getting stepped over by two people on their way to work.

Only embarassing for me, really, as I'm the only one who knows the full story!
