I have used stomp grip on all my bikes and am very happy with it. If you take your time applying it, and do it properly, then it'll last for ages. The 675 guys really love slapping this stuff called Techspecs on their bikes. I have only had a look at this stuff, but I don't think it would be as affective as stomp grip under heavy braking (track for example). However it's another alternative to consider, I guess.
Common complaints about Stomp Grip seems to be:
-You get ugly air bubbles
-It falls of easily
-It ruins your leathers!??
The first 2 aren't a problem if you fit it properly! Not sure about wearing away the leather at the knee - I have never seen anything like that! If some little rubber knobs can wear away you leathers, then they must be pretty sh!te as imagine what sliding down the road in the would do!
I think it's just hearsay (i.e complete b*llocks
