London members will wonder what all the fuss is about. But wild deer are a menace, their numbers have increased enormously over the last few years, and we need to have a cull. Not quite in the rotax way  I posted on the deer nuisance just the other day, one ran out of the hedge on the Shrewsbury bypass, fortunately it stayed by the roadside.

I had one dozily walk across the road in front of me three days ago, while I was on my Versys. As I haven't been too well recently I was taking it very easy for once and managed to slow down, hit the horn and swerve around it, but it did give the poor animal a bit of a shock before it skedaddled back from whence it came. I was only doing 50ish, where I'd normally be doing close on twice that fast down that bit of road.
We get a lot of deer wandering in the road round these parts too, and one of them was responsible for me rolling an Astravan over 4 times in early 1990. Me and my ex-missus <spit> were lucky to escape that one unharmed
