lb/inch (sometimes give # sign).... if you have a 1lb/in spring it means it will compress 1 inch if you put a pound of force on it. See how 1gen has 510# and 2gen has 430# spring? That means if you put that 2gen hagon in there it will likely be much too soft.


Quality is important, but only if the raw numbers are pretty damn close to correct. There is a WP race shock for sale from GSXR600K2, brilliant quality, but will make your bike handle like crap because it is built for something different.
