No, I am not from Plymouth. I just lived there for a while between 1988 and 1995 and from 2002 until 2008. It was always made very clear to me by the locals that I was indeed a foreigner and that I was from "From up the line!" When my Gran in Plymouth met my girlfriend Carol for the first time, she pretty much denied being related to me too
My Dad though, was born in Freedom Fields Hospital, but now lives in Saltash and my Mother is from Romford in Essex, but now lives in Plymouth.
As for me, I was born in Somerset, but grew up in Germany as an Army Brat until 1988.
