Cant speak for all schools but the ones at my traning school were well and truly used and abused (as expected).

They had HOOGE steels bars welded on the side to prevent engine damage but added probably 20 kilo to its weight.

They are gutless compared to the SV, everything about the SV feels so much nicer. I expect that experience is what its like going from an SV to a GSXR (or any SS).

All in my limited opinion, but stil fresh in my mind as I did this all a matter of weeks ago.
