The worst bodge I've been foul to was not done by myself, but the situation in which I discovered it must have been pretty impressive to see.
Had my left side mirror come off on the motorway, caught it as it fell (I was already reaching for it when it suddenly went, but other road users werent to know that lol) Managed to jam it between my crotch and the tank , unzip my leathers and force it down the front before zipping up to continue.
Anyway it was my own dumb fault as I ignored the slight wobble which for weeks I never thought to investigate. On inspection found the exension to the mirror arm which had been done by the previous owner involved some flattened copper pipe and insulation tape.. not a good bodge).
