Because not many owners do that sort of mileage.
Or, the sort who do, are happy to break their bikes when they've outlived their natural lives.
IF looked after they will do a lot of miles.
Given choice of 10k or 30k. I would buy the one in the best condition. I have seen some truly horrible dogs with low mileage, and some mint ones that have near been round the clock.
