I'm helping my brother look for his first bike and naturally having started on an SV myself we are heading to look at one later but not sure what to look for! I bought new in 02 and only put 5000 fair weather miles on mine in 3 years so never experienced any problems myself.

Whats the going rate for 99/00 curvys? This particualr example we are viewing later has done 11000 miles and only had 2 owners and is a 99 S. Do the engines give problems with more miles, are they good on fuel, brakes seize etc.
