Seeing as though the weathers getting grimmer by the day, thought i'd try organise a rideout before the clocks go back, the roads become covered in wet leaves and my bike possibly goes into hibernation for some tlc
So plan is for next Sunday (10th) starting from the Boars Head pub in Long Preston and taking in Slaidburn, Trough of Bowland, Ingleton and past White Scar Caves to Hawes, Kirkby Stephen, Sedbergh and down to the bridge.
Linky here
Its just over 100 miles so not going to take all day and takes in some great roads (in the right weather)
Food wise theres Slaidburn not long after the start for the fat knackers, theres always a butty van down trough of bowland way or if you can wait that long then Hawes is the obvious choice.
And for fuel, easiest place is Caton about 30 miles into the ride.
I expect you there Gaz unless you've got tanked the night before again

and Nick if hes not being a loser and working.
So, any takers? Smoke me a kipper i'll be back for breakfast
