Yeah you can take the front fender off with the wheel in place, there's 2 x bolts on the inside behind the callipers, you need a 10mm spanner for those, just reach into the wheel and feel around. The 2 x Allan head bolts you can see are easy enough.

If you haven't already done it then the best £15 you can spend is a can of ACF-50, basicly spray everything except the brakes and tyres and wipe off the excess... It will make some awesome smoke from the exhaust headers (neighbour thought my bike was on fire) but will help to protect them too.

Got to add that ACF-50 is a lubricant too, a little pricey to be a WD-40 substitute but removing the seat and not spraying it would be a good idea. Most of the bolt's i removed from mine were put in a jam jar with some ACF until it was time to put it all back.
