The advice is sound in principal however, and I agree that I'd be adding the price of this bike to the money you are going to have to spend to straighten it up, lets say £1400 quid, then go shopping for something older, but lower mileage and clean and straight, with service history and clean HPI if possible (not necessarily main dealer stamps on the service history, nothing wrong with home servicing, so long as the owner has kept records and receipts for all the parts used)
