Kelly - if the mileage wasn't as high I'd have bought this one, fixed it up and turned it round as a profit maker. As it is the damage is minimal and it could be made rideable for less than 50 quid but it's still too damaged to make it financially viable.

Buying the bike at £1295 then adding a used pair of cans (the left is damaged too), fuel tank repair, fairing replacement/paint and all those other smaller bits add up to more than you'd pay to buy a good condition straight bike

Dont those first 2 statements contradict the third?

Considering recent experiance then any catagory recorded damaged knocks a lot more off the value than the mileage does.
Like others have said when buying obviously I'd prefer lower miles but I wouldnt consder 48000 so many that I'd never touch it, I'd just expect the price to reflect it, in this case I dont think the price does. Which for different reasons brings us to the same conclusion, dont buy it.
