If they are showa forks you can take bushes out, kayaba good luck
You do have to take them out if anodizing due to process.
There is tool you can use but need to be careful. Bushes go out one direction only, from top down. Tool to use is popular with bicycle people, they take steering bearing races out with it. This is tool I use
