The direct train service from Wrecsam and Shrewsbury to London is ending Friday.

I always use it whenever I go to London, it's cheap (£50 return), convenient (no changing at Wolvo or New Street - I hate both places) and the staff are so pleasant - not like on Arriva or Virgin, where studied rudeness seems to be the norm. This is a real blow to Shroppie and Wrecsam. No subsidy available
