Only adaptor plates worth bothering with are ones Zoran made years ago (TWF racing), they let you fit GSXR K1-3 or SV1000 4 pots. Good calipers.
There are some other poor implementations of those plates kicking about.

SV brakes aren't that bad if healthy, you already got braided lines, good pads, serviced them etc?
