Default My B*tch of a day

Thought i'd share my day as it was full of ups and downs....
Started off with a ride back from London to Milton Keynes. Sun was shining (a bit cold) and it was a fantastic ride. Got home and thought i'd check my plugs as i have only recently replaced them and i tend to not do them tight. Brought on by the other post about plugs blowing out.
I started on the rear cylinder first. Backed the plug off and grabbed a torque wrench and started tightening. SNAP and many bad words. The plug sheared off leaving the thread in a head. Luckily not stripping the thread.
I started stripping the tank off etc expecting to strip off the head and inspect. Luckily my neighbour had an easy out. I covered it in grease (to attract any swarf) and gently started turning not expecting much. IT CAME OUT!! Tomorrows job is to get new plugs and fit it all back together.
I used NGK plugs and they have an extremely thin side wall (between thread and main body). I guess i should be grateful that they werent thick as it could off stripped the thread....Im not sure what went wrong. Maybe the torque wrench is out? faulty plug?

Word of warning to other newbies like me... Take it easy on plugs as they can cause hell
