Fill oil to F mark.
Put as much oil as you can into filter, but it's a tw*t to actually make any stay there when you fill it and try screw it on.
IMO you should disconnect coils, but actually thinking about it you can leave it switched off and just spin starter over by shorting across relay with a spanner. Whatever, you don't want 10,000 volts buggering about around the place with nowhere to go.
You should be able to do this with tank off entirely, no fuel needed.
Idea of taking plugs out is to minimise forces on bearings while the oil gets to them.

If it struggles to prime itself you can also take oil pump off and pour oil directly into galleries by leaning bike over a bit.

This may all be overkill, I'm sure lots of people just fire them up and get away with it fine.
Plugs are already in! - i could take them back out. I thought about just leaving the leads hanging off and just turning the engine at first that way. After all most of the intial volts are going to be at the starter and without the spark it won't kick in.

Without plugs in would i have to cover the spark plug holes?

Will it be ok to leave the tank off and disconnected? - i thought the onboard computer would detect this and stop it from doing anything?

Leaving the tank off and the fuel pipe disconnected i wont damage the throttle bodies and the injectors will i?

So many questions! ..... sorry dudes
