I concur with the Badger. I ran down to wales a while back, and the journey back up the M4 was horrid, wet and cold. I ached for about a week after, neck, back, legs etc, and i stopped twice on the way back.

I dont think that its your lid in anyway or that your lid will make a huge difference anyway.
