Apologies if this has been asked before, but I've tried searching both in here and in Google and never seem to find the answer I am looking for.

I know that aftermarket exhausts with the baffle removed sound awesome. But what about with the baffle still in? Do they sound better than the standard exhaust?

I am looking to buy my first SV and would prefer one that has an upgraded exhaust already fitted, but I would still like to be road legal as a novice rider. The websites I have looked at state that the sound is good with the baffle still in. I just wanted the opinion of people who have tried them.

Any help would be appreciated.
