Silly me. After much consideration and deliberation I put my faith in the BBC this morning and decided to leave the bike at home, in light of the forecast of thunderstorms and apocalyptic conditions of biblical proportions throughout Essex.
Oh how I missed the ride in this morning.... especially as it appears I was the only one that paid attention to the forecast, judging from the number of bikes on the road.
Is it me or has the BBC's forecast accuracy become increasingly erratic of late? I'm resorting back to looking out of the window with a wet finger in the air.
