Default Re: Crash Bungs

I've got R&Gs on the VRaptor. They came with the bike. Nice big and chunky things they are, never seen them that big in all my life.

Problem....totallly well and truely badly designed!!!!. R&G only make them for the nakid, although they are set in the same mounting place on the frame.
Much as they protect the radiator on the right side(sat on the bike) for some reason they don't stick out as much on the left side....so are completely useless for crashing on that side totally. I can't actually see what else they would protect, as the indicator pods stick out a country mile, and would be smashed to smitherines even if the bungs weren't present. I think the handlebars would give more crash protection!!

Moral of story in this case, would be don't crash, as every item on the list of damages would render the bike a write off. All parts for the VRap are now being discontinued from OE stock slowly, not that they were cheap in the first place.
