cheers for that , my problem is i am doing my direct access and have never drove the sv at all , i bought a new ybr125 5 weeks ago done my cbt and promised i wouldn't buy anything bigger , 10 days later howling gales (ok maybe a stiff breeze) convinced me i needed something that wouldn't get blown away , wiser people than me convinced me the sv was the way to go so i bought one , during a break in my first big bike lesson today (cb500) the discussion turned to tyres and dunlop took a kicking , now i have concerns and now being officialy middle aged i don't bounce as well as i used to so all advice on grip is greatfully received .
