Well now that I've had time to cool off & reflect on it, considering its just the 11 year old brake pipes which have failed & everyone assures me are easy to do (just that they're time consuming) I guess it's better than if it had failed on rusty everything like one of the older campers. One guy on't t4 forums says to check if the pipes are that bad, scotchbrite them so they look newer & then cover in grease to protect them AND also means the mot tester can't remove grease to inspect them. On one hand 'nice idea', on the other 'you do realise brakes are quite important?'..!

Would pay to cover the new pipes in grease or waxoyl, but not the old ones
