And if the Optics are low quality and produce uncorrectable light scatter?

Or if you are going up-hill/downhill/at a different level to other traffic?

Or dirt/bugs on the lenses do likewise?

2 of those questions are answered by the fact that LEGAL HIDs require self-levelling and self-cleaning mechanisms.
