Default Re: Pointy engine in Curvy frame?

Yes, the later fuel injected, (Pointy), engine will fit in the earlier, (Curvy), frame. Best choice would be '03 to '06. From your present engine you'll need to use the inlet rubbers to fit your carbs, and the rotor and ignition pickup, (wired in with stator so easier to change the lot). The PAIR ports will need blocking up, or I think you can use the cam covers from your present engine. The later engine has an oil cooler which the later exhaust fits around it, but which will most probably foul your present exhaust header, and certainly will do so if it is standard Suzuki. Some people who have done this have relocated the oil cooler, some have removed it.
