Good advice above. I was going to say the same. Get it lined up, get one corner or edge in place, then slowly apply it, teasing out the air bubbles from the area applied already as you go. Wipe the screen as you go too, to get rid of the dust. Once applied, you can often tease out the air bubbles by rubbing towards the corners.

Everyone has a different way. It's a proper faff. Hate them!
