See, this is the age old argument...bhp vs what matters in real life...torque.

Big bhp figures will win you headlines but torque will win you races..all day everyday, especially in the twisties. Four pots have little to no torqueyness so the sensation of speed is lessened and it doesn't feel as quick. Much the same as Turbo Diesel cars feeling much more ferocious than their petrol counterparts.
