From this, I Googled a bit and found a site that can take a scanned image of the instructions, recognises the symbols and produces a text stream of those symbols. Cut'n'paste that stream into Google Translate and... Job done.

As a result, I've shaped the blade from the blank and hardened it. That involved heating it to 1050 celcius for 8 minutes then quenche in oil. Now it's tempering in the oven at 180 celcius for 90 minutes. Thn all I have to do is make the pocket knife up!
