First off, what you've done with the look is superb. Really is. Transforms the bike. You've done a great job.

Ok, now those tyres. Fit them. Its like saying, I'm not gonna take my 600HP rear wheel drive Ferrari to the track because its raining, so I'll use my Fiat Punto instead?! If the Maxxi's aren't good enough in the cold then the SC's will be better.

Leathers - why do you need to get the knee down? The SV can lean pretty well whether or not the knee touches the ground. If its to improve balance then fine but it didn't look as if you were anywhere near the limit of the bike in the vid. As you've said yourself, there a little ways to go yet before you get used to the bike.

I say this not as a criticism by the way. I can't get my knee down because of my leathers, but then when I check the rear tyre, its almost on the edge. So the bike is very capable, just not powerful.
