Another wholehearted vote in favour of TCX Gore TeX boots. Best boots I've had by a long way.
Warm (well, relatively) in winter and cool (well, relatively) in summer. Never leaked a drop despite some horrendous prolonged downpours. Two years on and still in pretty good nick after being used most days and largely neglected - other brands have disintegrated in this time or started leaking badly.
And the magic of gore TeX seems to have kept them stink free... (well, relatively)
