Potential charging issue?
So i'm going away with the OH on the 29th on the bikes. His 08 SV has starting being a little.. strange i think is the right word.
He's not really being using it, but still done over 200 miles in the last 2 months, so it's done a few trips.
The bike always used to start first time no issue, now it seems to be struggling, it takes a few seconds and the lights cut out. The heated grips don't warm up, and the front side lights and dash are flickering.
The battery with the bike on but not started was about 12, idling it didn't go up by much, and at 5k revs it was 13.9-14v;s
Any suggestions as he's panicking.
