Totally agree - was going to say something to that effect but didn't want to waffle on too much.

The amount of council meetings I've sat through (as a reporter) where numpty residents/councillors have demanded the police set up speed traps in response to some accident, even though there was no indication that the accident was due to speeding. Best one was them demanding a NLS went down to a 50 because a drink driver in a stolen car crashed into a tree...

There's the whole demanding action over 'bad roads' and 'bad bends' things too. Altogether now - there's no bad roads...
