Forums telescope all faults into one spot, reading this forum might make you think Curvy owners fit a new rectifier with every tank of fuel, but the reality is that most bikes have never had a failure.

If it were me going touring I'd be more concerned about the obvious consumables - brakes, tyres, chains etc, and that I had enough miles left before the next service to accommodate the anticipated mileage.
I do

In all seriousness check the R/R and the wiring (melted wiring can be an issue) but you need to be more concerned with what Sid has said (tyres, chains etc..)
