Ninth, I got pulled for doing 98 in a 60 way back in the 90s on an FZR600. I had to take my girlfriend with me when I appeared in court because of the fear of losing my licence. I was self employed at the time and did a high road mileage in my van. My income was insufficient to employ a driver and I offered proof to the court.

On returning from their brief adjournment, the chief magistrate gave me the tiniest of nods as he entered the room. I had to resist the urge to fist pump the air knowing that a ban wasn't on the cards. They deemed 3 pts and a £200 fine appropriate in the end, happy days!
