Sadly I am with Dave, a supersport bike is not a good choice for long distance. I rode my 13s R6 from Gt Yarmouth to Caerphilly, South Wales. It is pretty much 300 miles, and it nearly killed me.
Where as the Thou' I have ridden 1000 miles a month including to Hamm in Germany and back with no issues.
I would say a naked/sport tourer would be best for you, so, a Thou', sped triple etc
