I need prescription glasses for driving and have an anti-glare coating on them which helps me quite a lot. Ask at your opticians as they may have a better selection on plain lenses. You can also try out lots of frames to get something really comfortable which is very important - uncomfy specs will irritate and may distract you more than the glare.
