Re: Severed wires
Those wires are not the main loom, they go from a multi plug on the loom to the left switchgear. The light blue gives that away - light blue is Suzuki for indicator. The reason the bike won't go is that the clutch switch wires - black/yellow - are severed.
Repairing wires in that area is tricky, they need to have as much flexibility as possible or they will soon be damaged.
Either cut sections out and replace such that the joins are in areas that don't need to flex, or replace the switchgear - early switchgear on eBay is £20 or so.
