I'm going to be contrary and say if the bike's for fair weather / pleasure riding only (which is all I use mine for, I'm not being sarky
), I'd personally save my money**.
Chain lube is much less messy if you spray into the lid of the can, and paint it onto the inside of the chain run with an old 1-inch brush (bike on a paddock stand). The brush works it into where it needs to be and you get almost zero fling-off.
** I'm a Yorkshireman, so saving money is a primary motivation for most things
