There have been a couple of duds released of late in the Technic range and they have been a little disappointing. The latest version of the
Kart for example is a bit duff. It does have a gear box and lots of pretty panels, but the functional elements are actually pretty poor. One case in point is the
motorbike that was released in 2015. It is clearly modeled on a VFR, given the V4 engine, but the model is actually pretty boring. What makes it worse is that in 2010 they released what is in effect a
Lego Street triple and it was fabulous. This is now trading for silly money on e-Bay if you can find an unopened box.
