I got an iphone 5S just before Christmas, got the S as it has a better camera, and yes indeed it really is good. There is also the VSCO app which allows a whole bunch of manual controls, even manual focus, I haven't really played with it much yet though.

I guess I'm usually taking pictures of moving things so choices of DoF or shutter speed take care of themselves, I did a few more test pictures using flash on the film in my Olympus. Half a dozen pics left, want to see what they look like, and when that one goes in am getting the really old film printed (1940s/50s, the two pics that came out) and an enlargement for a canvas - a friend nearby has a printing offer on which has hopefully not run out yet. I need a 1.21gigapixel (ish) scan for that.
