Default Re: Vintage film cameras

Well most of my mf are 6x9, I don't think any of mine are 6x6 and only the Bessa is 6x4.5. Only square formats I have are the 127s. I like working with mf as the negs are huge. Having said that, I started with mf before adding 35mm when I got back into film so I can happily work with both. I think I enjoy mf more though. I think the key with black and white is having lots of contrast. As you say, similar tones will just merge into one and give a poor photo. I won the mk 2 for the starting bid. Hoping its an easy fix. Got the batteries through for the BX and got it loaded. Got so many on the go that I have lost track! Will send you a roll of expired 110 Tiger if you got for the mk1.
Hey Johnny, did you know that Pentacon lenses were made by a daughter company of Zeiss Jena which was split off from Carl Zeiss at the end of WW2. May have a poor name but the glass should be excellent.
