Thanks.I think you are right.I got the numbers a little off but I think the link I posted was the correct one to lower the revs?

I've just looked in my manual.
SV650 110 links 15T front sprocket/Rear 45T
SV650s 108 links 15T front Sprocket/Rear 44T.
