oh no! You didn't buy the one you linked on ebay. That one was a litre I think.
Maybe have to bite the bullet and buy another - or exchange it, unless you know anyone who's got spare chemicals lying around.
I managed to waste half a film yesterday playing around with the Olympus ED. A light is supposed to come on as the shutter is pressed to indicate the batteries are working. It doesn't, or flickers irregularly, so I started clicking the shutter, winding on, pointing at different light levels, listening to the shutter, trying to get the light to work and thinking the batteries are dead.
I read the manual and some internet pages again. The consensus is that the battery check light is dodgy anyway and as the camera is auto, it won't fire if the batteries are dead. So it was working OK after all, then I remembered it had a film in too. Doh!!
