In order to remove the slope from the AL7-onwards seat, you would need extra foam which would raise the seat height. Suzuki have claimed the "lowest seat height in its class" by having a steep slope to the tank and then fitting a narrow seat with little padding.

I've got a gel seat and it is very sloped. While the gel is comfortable, I'm sure - I spend most of the time sat on my balls.
