think it would do as the brakes will still be effective until the bubbles form. In fact in this situation Ive had the brakes feel better than normal because the pads are in constant contact with the discs so the brake lever is really solid.
It might even have been the MOT that brought this problem on as by braking hard during the test the pistons could have come out slightly further than usual and then due to the corrosion refused to return...
