on a French autoroute on the way to La Rochelle i saw an indicated 167
after leaving Lee maxing the SV out at around 140
have to say tho that after a few hours testing top speed it gets
boring - cornering is waaaaay more fun and wears your tyres evenly! (unless you spend all the time you ride going round roundabouts!!!)
i'm sure it's already been said, but any numpty can point a bike in a straight line and twist the throttle to the stop, but it takes real skill to make fast progress on a twisty road (ie- corner quickly!)...
