There are loads of nice looking winkers about. I had little arrow type ones fitted to mine.
Brake levers are very easy to change. Think all you need is a 10mm spanner and socket to remove the bolt. Then the old lever sholud just pull out.
If you're replacing the lever with a non-genuine lever, i'd advice cutting about halfway thro the lever, an inch from the end, to replicate the weak point on the original lever. I did this to both levers (clutch) and it saves the rest of the lever and mounting point in the event of a small spill (alot of racers do this).

Oh, sorry to hear about the drop! I had someone do the same to me about 3 years ago. Luckily like you there was very little damage to the bike. My knee on the other hand..... should have had leathers on!!
